Ms. Maxine Tungate Wright, age 87, of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on September 25, 2017. Ms. Wright was a homemaker and a resident of Park Terrace. She was a member of Bicknel Avenue Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Travis and Luthie Tungate; daughter, Mary O’Bryan; and 12 brothers and sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Patricia Decker (Wendell), David Ray and Raymond Ray; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
