

Mr. Michael Angelo Bubbico, Jr., age 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 22, 2023. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 26, 1933. Mr. Bubbico, Jr. was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served for 4 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael Angelo Bubbico, Sr. and Teresa Marie Bubbico; son, Scott Brown; daughter, Kendall Brown; grandchildren, Jamie, Logan; brothers, Anthony “Tony”, Joey; and sister, Clara.
Michael was a gentle and sweet man. He loved singing and being a musician by trade. His specialty was the bass and steel guitar. Being Italian, his favorite food was making and eating homemade pasta called Little Hats. He was a loving father, grandfather, and husband. In his spare time he could be found golfing or fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 40 years, Elaine Bubbico; son, Michael Angelo Bubbico III; daughters, Laura Fishgrab, Dana Dever (Mark), Lisa Simon (Craig), Debbie Moulton (Doug); grandchildren, Tara, Breanna, Loren, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Austin, Corey, Katie, Rozilyn, Jessie, Jenny, Scott, Andrew, Justin, Eric, Zoe, Kylie, James, Nicholas; 27 great grandchildren; nephew, Bobby Werkheiser; sister-in-law, Sue Kerr (Don) and their children, Donavan, Jennifer, Nathan; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:30pm . Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00pm Noon until the time of service at 2:00pm. Expressions of sympathy can be made to His Glory, P.O.
