Michael E. Chapman

Mr. Michael Edward Chapman, age 71, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Mr. Chapman was born in Milton, West Virginia on December 23, 1952 to the late Carl Chapman and Mildred Settle Chapman. He was a 1970 graduate of Milton High School, a retired captain in the West Virginia Army Reserves and retired from CSX after 36 years of service.

In addition to his parents, his 1st wife, Donna K. Chapman and his brothers, Alan B. Chapman and Patrick L. Chapman preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Terry L. Chapman; children, Todd Chapman (Kristen) and Stacy Clauss; grandchildren, Trace, Michael (April), Kayla and Summer; siblings, David G. Chapman (Linda) and Carla S. Dunlap; sisters-in-law, Sharon Chapman, Karen Laney (David) and Dee McMillin (Wayne); stepchildren, Joe Thompson, Tim Thompson (Missy), Chuck Wardrip (Amber) and Amber Mink; step- grandchildren, Drue, Quintin, Brooklyn, Makenzie and Awbry; step-great grandchildren, Knox and Tate and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of his service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
