Michael Lee Fritz, Sr.

Mr. Michael Lee Fritz, Sr., age 74, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on November 17, 2023. Mr. Fritz was born on September 15, 1949, in Louisville, KY to the late Bernard and Blanche (Bible) Fritz. He retired from General Electric and Pebble Creek Apartments. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic by faith. Fritz was a great father, husband, brother, and friend, who could light up any room with his presence. He was a very giving person, life of the party, and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, brother, Eddie Davis; wife, Gloria Fritz; and daughter, Theresa McKinley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Michael Fritz, Jr. (Lanette), Joe Fritz (Jennifer), Stephanie Fritz, Kim Bagby (Steve), Tammy Stevens (Terry), and Robert Fritz; grandchildren, Candida, Steve Jr., Richard, Amber, Courtney, Miranda, Trey, Nick, Olivia, Maxwell, Colton, Jackson, Liam, Logan, Kameron and Chris; many great and great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Linda Meredith Babe, Janice Boyd, Bernie Fritz, and Deborah Patterson.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 1-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow. Family video on www.subfuneralhome.com
