Mildred Walden

Mildred O. (Monroe) Walden age 81 of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 27, 2014 with family be her side. Among those who preceded her in death were her parents John and Mary Frances Monroe; brother, J.C. Monroe. She was a retiree of Winn Dixie after 25 years of service. Mrs. Walden was a faithful member of Overdale Methodist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Cheryl Walden, Trina Walden; sons, Timothy Walden (Marsha), Eric Walden (Dana); sister, Estella Fink (Stewart); grandchildren, Anthony, Bradley, Jason, Tabatha and Joseph; great grandchildren, Damon, Matthew and Vincent and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road use John Harper entrance) with burial in Cave City Cemetery.
