Nellie Miller

Mrs. Nellie Miller, age 91, of Highland Park, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Mrs. Miller was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 1, 1926 to the late William Porter and Alice Ison. Mrs. Miller was retired from American Bank Stationary where she worked in the printing industry.

Among those preceding her in death include her husband, Earl Miller and several siblings.

She leaves to cherish her children, Earl Miller (Sandy), Beverly Elliott (David), Theresa Miller, and Annette Miller; 3 grandchildren, Angie, Robin and Jennifer; 5 great grandchildren, Zachary, Kaylee, Madelyn, Jordon, and Lauren; 1 sister, Lilly Jones; and 1 sister-in-law, Laura Porter.

Funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial on Thursday at 10:00 am to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends may pay their respects from 2:00 pm until the time of the service on Wednesday.
