Obie Martin Lewis

Mr. Obie Martin Lewis, age 78, of Hillview, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born on December 27, 1943 to the late James W. Lewis and Glenna (Haag) Lewis in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Lewis worked for Faulkner Construction where he retired after 25 plus years of service. He was a Navy veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Sharon Lewis; brother, James Lewis; sisters, Charlene Lewis, Norma Anderson; and brother, Stephen Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Steven Lewis; grandson, Jeremy Lewis; brother, Leo Lewis; sisters, Elaine Mattingly, Helen Hahn; special friends, Jeff and Neva Heckel; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22 , 2022 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Chenoweth Run Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm.
