Patricia Owen

Patricia was born on December 31, 1949, in Charlestown, Indiana to the late, William Ireland and Alice Marie (Case) Ireland. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was the matriarch and glue to the family. Patricia loved focusing on her family as she deeply loved each and every one of them. She did everything she could to support them in life. She loved to garden in her spare time as well. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, William and Alice Marie Ireland; husband, Dean Owen; and siblings, Steve Ireland, Jimmy Ireland, Billy Ireland, and Ruth Ann Lyons.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Dawn Brown (Kathy Dionne), Alicia Cox (Phillip Price), Denise Kannapel (Dennis Kannapel) and Alanna Hudson (Andy Hudson); grandchildren, Danielle Latham, Kayla Foster, Dalton Cox, Zach Kannapel, Trenton Cox, Karissa Hudson, Josh Owen, and Angel Williams; great-grandson, Braxton Cox; and siblings, Sharon Ireland, Jan Duke and Charlie Ireland.

The celebration of her life will be at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home – Mt. Washington, 123 Winning Colors Drive, on Friday, August 25,2023 at 12:00pm with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, August 24,2023 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and on Friday from 10:00am until the service time, 12:00pm.
