Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents, Myrtle Louise and Johnny Howard VanVactor; sister, Helen York and brothers, John and Bill VanVactor.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Ronda Cox, Tonya Compton (Kevin) and Ronnie Casey (Michelle); ten grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; siblings, Larry VanVactor, Carolyn Quire, Mary Porter, Sue Richardson, David VanVactor, Darlene Brooks, Brenda VanVactor, Tammy Moore and Jackie Hartley; a host of nieces and nephews and her best friend, Belinda.

Funeral Service will be conducted 10:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 1:00 until 8:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
