Paul Edward Nelson, Jr.

Mr. Paul Edward Nelson, Jr. age 54, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on September 7, 2021. Mr. Nelson was born on September 5, 1967 in Louisville, KY to Barbara (Probst) Pieper and the late Paul Edward Nelson, Sr. He was a delivery driver for Mondelez. Among those that preceded him in death are his father, sister, JoAnn Nelson; and best friend, Billy Cook.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 32 years, Cindy (Clements) Nelson; children, Aaron Nelson and Ambre Nelson; grandchildren, Carter and Camree; mother, Barbara Pieper (Bruce); brother, Michael Nelson (Tina); a host of family and friends; and of course, his best riding dog, Maxer.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
