Rev. Donald R. Jones

The Reverend Donald R. Jones, age 83, heard the voice of our Savior calling him home, of course he said, “yes” on February 2, 2023. Donald was a preacher, painter and a car salesman. He resided in Mt. Washington, KY.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, Johnnie and Dorothy Jones; sister, Rebecca Chapman; brother, William F. Jones; granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Thieneman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Pauline “Polly” Jones; son, Johnnie Jones (Esther); daughter, Michelle Thieneman (Albert); granddaughter, Rabecca Jones; granddaughter, Sarah Boots (Spencer); grandson, Kyle Houghton (Allison); great-granddaughters, Blakelee and Sutton and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of his service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
