Richard Francis Johns

Mr. Richard Francis Johns, age 89, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Mr. Johns was born in Malden. MA on December 14, 1931 to the late Harry O. Johns, and Eunice (Carom) Johns. He worked for many years for MLB corporation, in Boston MA as a machinist. He was in the U.S. Army and was immensely proud of his time served, he was a true New England Patriot fan, and Catholic by Faith.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his parents; his late wife Pauline Johns; and his son Richard J. Johns.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 5 years Dianna (Clark) Johns; granddaughters Kat Brown (William); Michelle Culp (Steve); brother Harry Johns; stepchildren, Brian Clark (Rebecca); Shonda Clark (Richard); grandchildren, Ila, Will, Alexander, Morgan; step grandchildren, Destiny, Derrick, Katie, Austin (Madison); 3 great grandchildren Lynix, Zaedyn, Tamzyn, along with other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Burial will be private. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
