Richard Phelps

Richard G. Phelps, age 73 of Shepherdsville was born November 25, 1941 to the late Walter and Rosella Phelps and returned to his Heavenly Father July 22, 2015. Mr. Phelps was a former employee of Beams Distillery.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; sisters, Bonnie Badder and Pearl Thompson; and a brother, Bruce Phelps.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Shirley Butler; Nieces, Rita Perkins(Danny), Gail Hornbeck(Dave), Vanessa Sims(Tommy), Cynthia McNamee(Gary), Sheila Adams(David); nephews, Mike Phelps(Janet),Frank Butler(Karen) Steven Badder, Craig Badder(Cindy); and a host of great nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held Sunday 2 p.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with interment in Vine Hill Cemetery, Clermont Ky. Friends may pay their respect on Saturday from 4 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. until the time of service.
