Richard "Rich" Dean Axline, II

Richard Dean “Rich” Axline, II, age 48 of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, with loving family by his side. He was born on December 9, 1975, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, to Richard Axline and Cynthia Reffner.  Rich was a follower of Christ and a member of Southeast Christian Church Bullitt County. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Avis Ray Mason.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 26 years, Kristen Axline; children, Mason Axline, Emmerson Axline and Harrison Axline; mother, Cindy Reffner (Dean); father, Ric Axline; brother, Tim Axline; sister, Deana Reffner; mother-in-law, Mary Lee Mason; sister-in-law, Kara Meredith (Jason); brother-in-law, Doug Mason (Billie) and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 12 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Brooks Rd. at Preston Hwy.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
