Robert Lee Barnett

Mr. Robert Lee Barnett, age 78, of Pioneer Village returned to his Heavenly Father on October 15, 2015. Mr. Barnett retired from United Catalyst (Clariant) where he was a systems operator. Mr. Barnett was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran and a member of Foresters. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents; and first wife, Emma Jean Barnett. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 22 years, Wilma Gaw Barnett; children, Cathy Walker (Scott), Sandra Wilson, Donna Gregory (Craig), Dwayne Barnett (Angie), Billy Barnett (Beth) and Alan Barnett; stepchildren, Terry, Denny and Jeff Menifee; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Monday, October 19, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2-8 pm at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
