Mr. Ronald "Ron" Wayne Withers, 60, of Hillview, returned to his Heavenly Father Thursday, August 24, 2017. He was a member of Maryville Baptist Church. Among those who preceded him in death include his wife, Katherine Withers. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Hugh and Jeanette Withers; son, Kevin Withers; daughter, Misty Lush (Joseph Jr.); grandchildren, Grant Stinson, Leah Stinson and Tyler Lush; brothers, Gregory Withers (Marcia) and Kenneth Withers (Peggy) and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Monday, August 28, 2017 at Maryville Baptist Church (130 Smith Lane, Louisville, KY 40229) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 3pm until 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) and Monday from 1pm until the time of the service at the church. www.subfuneralhome.com
