Ronnie Gilbert Skipper

Mr. Ronnie Gilbert Skipper, age 75, of Hillview, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born on August 17, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Francis and Eva Mae Skipper. He was a Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a Baptist by faith and a mason with Shawnee Lodge #830 F. & A.M. He was the Grand High Priest with the York Rite and a member of the Scottish Rite. Mr. Skipper was involved with many of the mason affiliations. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing and watching motorsports and wrestling.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 51 years, Judy Skipper; his children, David Skipper (Melissa) and Shelley Myers (Samuel); his grandson, Dylan Skipper; his sister, Joyce Scott; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm Monday, February 7, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Visitations will be Sunday 3pm until 8pm and on Monday 11am until time of service.
