Born on September 16, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of George and Helen Richardson, who preceded her in death.
One of her greatest pleasures was working in her garden. She loved tending to her flowers and plants, finding peace and satisfaction in the beauty of growing things. Her garden was a reflection of her spirit, nurtured with care, attention, and love. It was a place where she could spend time reflecting and where she created beauty that could be enjoyed by all who visited.
Rose Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Dewitt, she is also survived by her sister, Linda; her nephew, Joe; brother Larry and her sisters-in-law, Brenda, Alice, and Barbara; brother-in-law Terry
Funeral service will be held on Thursday April 23, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. at Hardy Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 23, 2026 from 11:00 A.M until the funeral hour beginning at 4:00 P.M.
Rose will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
