Ruthy Jean Ward

Mrs. Ruthy Jean Ward, age 86 of Louisville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 24, 2018. She was born on May 10, 1932, in Louisville, KY to the late Garnett Earl, and Lucille (Merrifield ) Morgan. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed telling everyone she was a manager for 27 years at International Harvester credit union.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Paul Ward, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Paul A. Ward (Darlene), Frances (Ward) Brooks (Greg); grandchildren, Sarah Minor (Scott), Jonathan Brooks, Andrew Brooks, Ashley Ward; great grandchildren, Sadie Minor, Levi Minor; sisters, Ulane Morgan, Marion Weber (Jerry); and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Brooks Rd. at Preston Hwy.) with Dr. Greg Brooks officiating.  Burial will be in Penn Run Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
