Skip Lee Doyle

Skip Lee Doyle, age 70, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. Skip was born in Louisville, KY on August 26, 1948 to the late Carl and Evelyn Doyle. He retired from General Electric and was currently employed by Right Stop RV Center. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer and a volunteer at Actor’s Theater for over twenty years.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his sister, Bonnie Doyle Adkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barb Doyle; four daughters, Kimberly Lehnert-Alvey (Scott), Shelley Doyle- Hyatt (Dan), Stacey Doyle- Smither (Bobby) and Jennifer Doyle- Wu (Wei); grandchildren, Moira, Rebekah, Sylvia, Annamarie, Zavier, Ryan, Alora, Natalie, Jacqueline, Sarah and Robert; brother, Garry Doyle (Donna); his beloved dog, Brindyl; a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Doyle home. Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) is handling arrangements.
