Susan L. Owen

Mrs. Owen was born August 26, 1947 in Louisville to the late Homer and Stella Ragland. She was a graduate of Male High School and a maintenance supervisor for Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home for 12 years.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents and brother, Gareth Ragland.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 44 years, Mike Owen; sons, Shaun Owen and Jeremy Owen and his wife Kelly; grandchildren, Corey, Casey and Emiley and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Friday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd., use John Harper entrance) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Friday at Schoppenhorst.
