Thomas "Buck" Atwood

Mr. Thomas Arnold “Buck” Atwood, age 51, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 12, 2022. He was born in Harrison County, Indiana on January 4, 1971. Mr. Atwood worked for Caudill Seed as a truck driver for multiple years. He was a member of the Harrison Lane Baptist Church in Louisville. Mr. Atwood is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Shirley Atwood; and grandson, Avery Atwood.

Thomas was an avid farmer who enjoyed life and fishing. One of his favorite hobbies was shooting his 1911 Colt and going for a ride on his motorcycle. He never met a stranger and would do what he could to help others. Thomas will be dearly missed by his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Laura Atwood; daughters, Shanon Atwood, Candice Lee; son, Darrick Atwood (Anna); granddaughter, Riley Taulbee; and a host of many loving friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held at Harrison Lane Baptist Church at a later date. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
