Thomas "Eddie" Edward Lietz III

Mr. Thomas Edward Lietz, III, (Eddie), age 42, of Okolona passed away at his home on Friday March 1, 2019. Eddie was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 9, 1976. He was a tool and die maker specializing as a mold maker for Toyota.  He was a member of the BMW Enthusiast club. Anyone who knew Eddie knew of his passion for cars. Eddie loved his family dearly, especially his children and his sister. He will be greatly missed. 

Among those that preceded him in death are his father, Thomas E. Lietz, Jr.; and grandparents, Thomas E. Lietz, Sr., Anne Lietz, Charles Crawford and Danny Logsdon.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Zachary and Audrey Lietz and their mother, Meredith McGee; parents, Doris and Steve Logsdon; sister, Kelli Logsdon; grandparents, Catherine Crawford and Betty Logsdon; aunts and uncles, Mary and Ron Abdevich, Allen Crawford, James Crawford, Raymond and Barbara Tindle, Steve and Linda Tindle, Leroy and Margie Tindle, Gary and Cathy Marcum, Larry and Tina Hawkins; and a host of other family and friends.  

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins. The funeral service will take place at 12:00 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019 with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.
