Virginia Ruth Sanders

Virginia Ruth Sanders, age 73, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 2, 2021.  Virginia was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 24, 1947 to the late Carl and Dolores Roberts. She is preceded in death by her son, John L. Sanders III; parents; sister, Carlotta Lutton, Jackie Roberts and Peggy Comstock. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John Leo Sanders; sons, Shane Sanders, Brian Sanders (Kerri Bean) and David Marlett (Michelle); 7 grandchildren, Shawna (Jacob), Nathan, Destiny, Alexis, Riley, Tristan and Cassie; 3 great grandchildren, Miller Crocker, Landon Crocker and Lawson Crocker; sister, Karen Evans; daughter-in-law, Helen Baker; 2 friends, Carol B. and Sue Clay; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, April 9, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Thursday from 1pm until 8pm and on Friday from 10am time of service at the funeral home.
