Mr. Walter Lafon Griffith, age 70, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on November 4, 2024. Mr. Griffith was born on September 12, 1954, in Louisville, KY to the late Homer and Lillian (Cox) Griffith. He retired from General Electric. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, daughter, Wendy; son, Wally; and brother, Earl Harlan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years, Beth (Wallace) Griffith; brothers, Chas Wills (Sue) and Gene Wills (Cathy); and several nieces and nephews.
The family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
