William "Tom" Patterson

William "Tom" Patterson, age 74, went into the arms of Jesus, Monday, August 22, 2016 after a 14-year battle with COPD. He was a Baptist by faith, a retiree of Kroger Company, and an avid music lover, particular country and bluegrass. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie (Snider) and Mitchell Patterson; and his daughter-in-law, Tina (Blunk) Patterson. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Donna Tungate (Ron); son, Tommy Patterson Jr; three grandchildren, Ronnie Tungate Jr. (Sarah), Jennifer Henderson (Jason), Christian Patterson; three great-grandchildren, Nathan, Natalie, RJ, and one on the way Nolan; his former wife Linda Wilkins; and his partner of 16 years, Mary Armstrong.

Funeral service will be held on August 25, 2016 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on August 25, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of service. www.subfuneralhome.com
