Calvin Herman Hinze

Calvin Hinze, age 85, of Shiner, Texas passed away on July 8, 2010. He was born on January 1, 1925 to Paul and Selma (Schreiber) Hinze. Calvin was born and raised in Shiner, Texas. On June 5, 1949, Calvin married his love, Maurine Eggert in Shiner, Texas. They had two children. Calvin is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Maurine, son: Lawrence with wife Ellen Hinze, daughter: Katherine Caka, five grandchildren: Patrick with wife Susan Hinze, Lori Hinze, John, Melissa and Michele Caka and two great-grandchildren: Grace and Emma Hinze. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 12 noon to 9:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30. Funeral service will be on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Shiner. Burial will follow at Shiner Cemetery.
