

Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiner Catholic Cemetery in Shiner, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 22, 2015 with Deacon Joe Machacek officiating.
Cody was born on August 12, 1981 in Shiner, Texas. He was the son of Michael and Karen (Edwards) Muelker. Cody liked to dance, and he was an avid motorcycle rider. He was a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.) He participated in high school rodeos in Team Roping. After high school, Cody became a Paramedic and worked for many area Volunteer Fire Departments and Volunteer Ambulance Services. He was a Flight Medic and worked for Air Evac EMS, Inc. out of O’Fallon, Missouri. He also assisted and received recognition in the West, Texas Disaster. He loved his family and was a good “baby brother”.
Cody is survived by his daughter; Blanche Muelker of Lampasas, grandparents; John and Gladys Edwards of Fredericksburg, Texas, grandmother; Viola Muelker of Shiner, Texas, his mother; Karen Gold and her husband, Steve of San Antonio, Texas, his girlfriend; Brandi Brice-Wolfe of Lometa, Texas, two sisters; Mandy Sadler of Jourdanton, Texas, Meredith Koch and her husband, Michael of Austin, Texas, his step-mother; Cynthia Neal of Granbury, Texas, three nieces; Quinlyn Sadler, Sonora Sadler, and Jillian Koch, two nephews; Hondo Sadler, and Gavin Koch, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; Michael Muelker, grandfather; Denver Muelker, uncle; James Muelker, and step-father; Eddie Neal
