Margaret G. Grissom Hanson

Margaret June Hanson, loving wife , mother, grandmother and great- grandmother passed away at the age of 94 on August 13, 2012. She was born February 21, 1918 in Albia, Iowa, to Mary Mac Cutcheon and S. Clay Grissom . She was a Christian, an artist, a potter, and a bible scholar.

She is survived by daughters, Susan Whitley and husband Leon Whitley of Edna,Texas, Mary Bluhm and husband Dudley Bluhm of Corpus Christi, Texas; surviving sister, Mary F. Hughes and husband George Hughes of Irving, Texas; granddaughters, Holly Beth Sellers of Corpus Christi, Texas, Molly Snaufer and husband Mark Snaufer of Sandy, Utah; grandsons, Leon Whitley Jr. and wife Cecilia of Elgin, Texas, Jay Whitley and wife Noelia of Austin, Texas, Dudley Fred Bluhm Jr. of Sandia, Texas; great- granddaughters, Brittany Sellers of Fort Worth, Texas, Kristen Sellers of Corpus Christi, Texas, and great- grandson, Eric Snaufer of Sandy, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews.

Maragret is preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life, husband Roy J. Hanson; sisters, Marion Dee Grissom, Helen Ames, and Dorothy Henderson; great granddaughter Alyssa Snaufer.
