Mrs. Barbara Ann King Pharr

Shreveport, LA

Services celebrating the life of Barbara Ann King Pharr, 71, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Billy Pierce. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

Mrs. Pharr was born on July 16, 1940 and left this earth to be with her Lord on September 24, 2011. She was born in Wan, Oklahoma to Richard and Rose King. Barbara was raised in California until moving to Louisiana in 1967. She was a homemaker and a very loving mother, grandma and gamma.

Mrs. Pharr was preceded in death by her parents, Richard King and Rose Hurst; husband, H.L. Pharr; daughter, Darla Dunn and great grandson, Kayleb Mitchell.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Barbara is her daughter, Debora Bozeman and husband James; son, David Dunn; former daughter-in-law, Rae Ellen Dunn; grandchildren, James Bozeman, Jr., Michael Bozeman and wife Jennifer, Justin and Cody Logan, Kandi Mitchell and husband David, Krystal, Kasey and Kaylee Dunn; great grandchildren, Wyatt and Waylon Bozeman, John-Gavyn Springer, Trenton and Colton Mitchell; sisters, Ethel Hansel, Sandy Holden and husband Tony, Patty Waugh, Emily Sue King, Katherine Roberts and husband Rex; brothers, Don Gaut and Andy Hornbeck and wife Maude. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and cats.

Honoring Mrs. Pharr as pallbearers will be: Dylan Tekkell, Tony Holden, Dean Leonard, Randy Scott (Scotty) and Justin McClanahan. Honorary pallbearer will be David Mitchell, Jr.
