Bobby J. Hendrickson, Born July 20, 1945, went to his heavenly home on March 22, 2015. He was born in Rives, Mo and was a graduate of Woodlawn High School.
Bobby’s favorite pastimes were fishing and spending time with his wife. Their love was one that could be enjoyed through watching them spend nearly every moment of their lives together; a true example of unconditional love. The companionship they shared was a true source of inspiration and a legacy they have shared with their family.
Bobby retired after 30 years of service with the Shreveport Water Department and was most recently employed by Bell’s Towing Company as a Dispatcher. He was a proud member of Landmark Baptist Church in Stonewall, LA, where he enjoyed serving in many capacities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Gracie Mae Hendrickson. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Middie Hendrickson; daughters, Shari Procell and Lara Marks (James); grandchildren, Mark Collins (Laura), Kevin Collins (Sarah) and Ashley Procell; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Collins; sister, Louise Rowe; niece, Vanessa and her children, Gene, Jordan and Gracie; and numerous extended family members.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Bobby Joe Hendrickson will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Jerrell Head. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM until service time.
Pallbearers are: Mark Collins, Kevin Collins, James Marks, Kenneth Procell, Bill Partain, and Brian Bell.
The family wants to express their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care Bobby received from the doctors and staff at Cornerstone Hospital in Bossier City, LA.
