Kenneth James Brian Leonard, lifelong resident of Shreveport, LA passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 46. He was born on April 1, 1974 to Kenneth Earl Leonard and Elizabeth Diane Green Leonard.
Brian, as he was affectional called, was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church and former member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was saved at church camp when he was 15 and baptized at Calvary Baptist Church at age of 17. Brian loved going on family vacations, especially to Florida. He enjoyed camping and taking trips to visit family. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the LSU Tigers. He was a fan of Star Wars and enjoyed collecting action figures. He spent the most recent years as a resident of Holy Angels, where he enjoyed spending time with friends, doing activities, and attending special events.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; sister, Laurie L. Miller and husband Joel Miller; nephew, Julian Miller and niece, Lauren Miller all of Mandeville, LA; great grandmother, Liz Mangum and grandpa Carroll of Shreveport, LA; great grandmother, Clarice Leonard of Arlington, TX; Aunt and Uncle, Libbey and Thomas Leonard of Madill, OK; Aunt Terri Williams of Greenwood, LA; Aunt and Uncle, Donna and James Kirkpatrick of Fortworth, TX; Aunt and Uncle, Mary and Marshal Dunn of Colorado; Uncle Victor Dunn of Arkansas; and numerous other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by paternal great grandparents, James W. Lockhart and Minnie Page Lockhart; grandfather, Donald R. Leonard; grandmother, Opal Marie Lockhart; maternal great grandparents, Ruth and Julius R. Green and Carl Otis and Donnie Bell Rainer; grandfather, James R. Green; paternal aunt, Sherry Cox; aunt and uncle, Diane Gisel and Ricky Green.
A visitation for Brian will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A funeral service will occur following the visitation. An interment will follow the services. Officiating the services will be Bro. Price Harris.
