Carla Silva Lindsey Kuhn

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Carla S. Kuhn, 73, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Monsignor J. Carson LaCaze of St. John Berchman’s Cathedral. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kuhn was born on January 10, 1940 in Coushatta, LA and passed away on September 9, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. Carla was very involved with her church and her Catholic faith. She served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul. She was very dedicated and devoted to her family and loved them very much. Even through her illness Carla never lost her spirit. She will be remembered for her loving and caring nature.

Mrs. Kuhn was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William Francis Kuhn, Sr.; daughter, Elizabeth Ann; her parents and many siblings.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Carla are her children, Katrina Ogburn(Bill), Mary Buckmaster(Kyle), William F. Kuhn, Jr.(Cecilye) and Christopher Anthony Kuhn Sr.(Vickie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends.
