Charles (Chuck) Robert Moran of Converse, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2021. He was born March 2, 1955 to Fredric and Vera Lou Moran in Shreveport, LA. Chuck graduated from Bossier High School in 1973. His first job was working for McDonalds for over 30 years. His latest jobs include Quicker Liquor Party Shop and The Flower Shop in Mansfield, LA.
Chuck was a devout Christian. He was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed meeting people and he always had a positive outlook on life. He believed a smile could change the world and that is what he did. He was passionate about life and helping others. His final wishes were to be an organ donor to aid others. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who loved to spoil his grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Julie Moran; daughter, Angela "Nicole" Moran; Grandchildren, Rebecca Danielle Kurtz, Heather Alexis Kurtz and Joshua Aaron Wolf; siblings, Dennis Moran and wife, Toni and Jimmy Alexander and wife Kay; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fredric and Vera Lou; brother, Jerry Alexander and his wife, June Alexander; father-in-law, Jack Patterson; mother-in-law, Mildred Patterson; brother-in-law, Donald Dobbs and nephew, Daniel Moran.
A visitation for Chuck will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 2:00 PM. He will be to laid to rest following the services in Hill Crest Memorial Park, 601 US-79 N, Bossier City, LA 71111. Bro. Richard Enterkin of Union Springs Baptist Church will officiate the services honoring Chuck.
