Shreveport, LA- A visitation celebrating the life of Charles Ray Seyfried, 68, will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Charles’ wishes were to celebrate his life with happiness and joy and not to have a traditional funeral service. The family invites you to come and share your stories and fondest memories of Charles on Monday at his visitation.
Charles was a founding member of the Krewe of Centaur and served as King Centaur X. He was also a member of the Krewe of Gemini for the last three years. He loved Mardi Gras and working with the March of Dimes and the Barnwell Center on charity events. Charles was very outgoing and most importantly a loving father, grandfather and friend to all.
Mr. Seyfried was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Cleo Seyfried.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Charles are son, Scott Seyfried; daughter, Lauren Woodson and husband Bruce and his grandchildren, Tripp, Angie-Lynn and William.
