

Shreveport, LA – Services celebrating the life of David Wayne Tarter, 32, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, in the Sanctuary of the Salvation Army located at 201 East Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71101, 318-424-3200. Captain Kevin Chapman, Major Mark S. Smith with The Salvation Army and Pastor S. Styles of Nazarene Church of Vivian, Louisiana will be officiating.
The family will be receiving friends for visitation Friday, January 27, 2012, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71108, 318-686-4334, from the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
David was born February 27, 1979, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Barbara Ann Boles-Tarter and Stanley Wayne Tarter and was called to his Heavenly home January 24, 2012, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
David is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother; Dorothy Mae Boles, and one cousin; Douglas Scott Tarter. Left to cherish David’s memories and tell his life story will be the love of his life, his son, Trent Davidson Tarter of Vivian, Louisiana, mother; Barbara Ann Boles-Tarter of Jackson, Mississippi, father; Stanley Wayne Tarter and wife Brooke Smith of Greenwood, Louisiana; one sister, Kimberly Faith Tarter-Simmons of Nacogdoches, Texas, maternal grandfather; Horace Dale Boles of Keithville, Louisiana, paternal grandparents; Jack and Lois Tarter of Bella Vista, Arkansas, two step-children; Adam and Aryn and their mother Jamie Brian Tarter all of Vivian, Louisiana, three nieces; Destiny, Christian, and Lily, three nephews; Austin, Kamryn, Owen, along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends.
Honoring David as pallbearers will be Andy Tarter, Anthony Weir, Jarred Weir, Jesse Brown, Graig Garrett, John Boles, Eric Anderson, and Benjamin House. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Boles and Kevin Weir.
