

Services to celebrate the life of Earl L. Raley, Sr. will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:30pm in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 1:00-2:30pm in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Raley was born on April 3, 1926 in Martin, LA and passed away on September 13, 2016 after a brief illness. He’s now reunited in heaven with his wife Frances, whom he missed dearly. Mr. Raley proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and The Korean Conflict. After the Navy, he served his community as a Shreveport Policeman, retiring in 1973 at the rank of Captain. He loved hunting, fishing, and traveling with their camping group.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Etta and Lawrence Raley; wife, Frances; two brothers; two sisters; daughter, Diana Raley Pittman; and grandson Cody Raley. Earl is survived by his sons, Earl L. Raley, Jr. and wife Teresa, and Jeff Raley and wife Teresa; son-in-law, Gary Pittman; grandsons, Brett Pittman, Zach Raley and wife Lauren, Colton Raley; granddaughter-in-law, Amy Raley; and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Ella Raley.
