Eloise Hensley Watts

Shreveport, LA - Mrs. Eloise Hensley Watts passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Montclair Park Memory Care. Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5 till 7 PM and the funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. James Hensley. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

Eloise was born in Miller County, Arkansas and graduated from Garland City High School. She met her future husband Bob Watts at Magnolia A&M, now Southern Arkansas University. After marriage they resided in Texarkana, Arkansas until moving to Shreveport, LA in 1976 to open Watts Window World where she loved to help decorate and provide window coverings.

She loved to work in her churches at Beech Street Baptist in Texarkana and Summer Grove Baptist in Shreveport where she worked with children and youth. She had a deep love for music and enjoyed singing in the church choirs. As GranGran she loved her grandchildren dearly.

Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Watts, Sr.; parents, Ed and Lola Hensley; sister, Carol Hill; and a brother, Melvin Hensley. She is survived by her sons, Rick Watts and wife Anita and Rob Watts and wife Jane; grandsons, Chase Watts and wife Katlin and Marshall Watts; granddaughter, Lori Cornish and husband Barrett; great-grandson, Sky Watts; great-granddaughters, Dallas and Chayse Cornish; brothers, Ken Hensley and wife Joan, M.J. Hensley and wife Wilma, Bill Hensley and wife Ann, Don Hensley and wife Anna; sisters, Gwen Prestige and Connie Isner; and other relatives and a host of friends.
