Frances Jeanette Triplet

Frances Jeanette Triplet was born August 10, 1933 in Coushatta, Louisiana to the late Earl Clinton Williams Sr. and Alma Florence Hicks Williams. She was a homemaker, teacher and florist. During her time teaching, she taught preschool for Southside Baptist and Cedar Grove Baptist. Frances loved creating floral designs with her daughter, Charlotte for three years. Her passion for flowers mirrored her vibrant personality.

Mom was the heart of our family, known for her radiant smile and warm spirit. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel loved and cherished. She was an amazing and strong person. Known to everyone at Sam's town as the Dancing Queen, Frances was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was truly the best mother and grandmother in the World. She adored her family and would shower them with love every chance she had.

Frances went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family, Friday, September 20, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana at the age of 91. To know her was an honor. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and smiles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Newton Triplet; son, Michael Noah Triplet; daughter, Debbie Sue Triplet Cope; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Triplet; her parents; four brothers, Amandred Lamar Williams, J.D. Williams, Hayward Aaron Williams and Walter Warren Williams; brother-in-law, Bill LeGrand; grandparents, and numerous nieces, nephews.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Charlotte Triplet and husband Johnny Mandel; sons, Daniel Dewayne Triplet and wife Angie, Lloyd Raye Triplet and wife Valerie, and Drexell Triplet and wife Melanie; son-in-law, Karl Cope; her grandchildren, Danny Triplet (Rachel), Charley Martin Forshee III (Madeline) , Cameron Callaway (Leslie), Crystal Triplet Brooks (Kelly), Alicia T. O'Bryant , Tiffany T. Adams (Wayne), Lauren Triplet Shands (Colby), Kyle Triplet (Alli) , Daniel Neathery (Lauren), Isaiah Reeder, Dusty Cope (Lindsey) ,Christopher Cope and Patrick Mann; 21 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn LeGrand; brother, Earl C. Williams Jr and wife, Linda; sister-in-law, Nora Williams; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Frances will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. A celebration of life will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. A graveside service will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 689 Old Athens Rd, Athens, LA 71040. Officiating the service will be Bro. Mel Campbell and Eddie Ballance with Sage Johnson and Kent Gill providing music. Serving as pallbearers are Danny Triplet, Charley Martin Forshee III, Cameron Callaway, Dusty Cope, Kyle Triplet, Isaiah Reeder, Tripp O’Bryant, Caleb Brooks and Hunter Triplet with honorary pallbearers, Daniel Dewayne Triplet, Michael Noah Triplet, Lloyd Raye Triplet, Drexell Earl Triplet and Christopher Cope.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Our Lord and Savior for giving us our precious mother. We would also like to thank Dr. David Abdehou and the staff of Chateaus at Montclair Assisted Living, who were like family to the Triplet family, the staff at Gentiva Hospice, and the staff at Intensive Specialty Care of Willis Knighton Pierremont.
