Harold H. Monroe

Graveside services for Harold H. Monroe, 83, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2017, at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held within Centuries Memorial Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to going to graveside.

Harold was born on May 26, 1934, in Chippewa Falls, MN to parents, Orville and Pearl Monroe. He passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, leaving behind a legacy of friendship and love. Harold's best friend was his son, Terry. For many years they shared a love of Sprint cars, building street rods, and restoring antique cars. Harold was also a pilot and spent several years in aviation.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Monroe; parents, Orville Monroe and Pearl Monroe Olson; and sisters, Betty Lou Schmitt and Mary Anderson. He is survived by his son, Terry Monroe and wife Bonnie; step-son, John Salisbury and wife Maddy; sister, Eleanor Morris; granddaughters, Heather Leggett and husband Craig, Katie Koglin and husband Jordan, and Kristi Coker; grandsons, Michael Salisbury and wife Stacy, Chad Stroope, Jeramy Stroope, and Brian Naughton; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
