Mrs. Harriet "Pat" Eileen Patterson Winfrey

Shreveport, LA-Funeral services celebrating the life of Harriet "Pat" Winfrey, 93, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Turnley. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from the hours of 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Winfrey was born on April 4, 1921 in Galveston, TX and passed away on May 20, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Harriet was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Winfrey was lovingly known as "Mimi" by her family and friends. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Harriet loved the Lord and was devoted to her faith. She was a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church.

Mrs. Winfrey was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall "Buck" Winfrey and her parents.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Harriet are her daughters, Patti Hermes and husband Michael, Debra Taylor and Connie Nail and husband Rodney; one sister, Marge Schick; grandchildren, Jennifer Monsour and husband Jeff, Jason Legg and wife Melissa, Tracye Howard and husband Mike, Adam Nail, Ashley Nail and Matthew Nail; great grandchildren, Claire Monsour, Jackson Legg and Avery Claire Nail. Mrs. Winfrey is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Honoring Mrs. Winfrey as pallbearers will be: Michael Hermes, Rodney Nail, Adam Nail, Matthew Nail, Jason Legg, Jackson Legg, Earnie Legg and Jeff Monsour.
