Lester graduated from LSU in 1967 with a Bachelor’s in Education. He retired as a manager after 20 years with Sam’s Club. He also owned the Christian book store, God’s Little Greenhouse.
Lester is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 48 years, Ellen Kimble; sons, Joey D. Kimble and wife Karen and James W. Kimble and wife Crystal; daughter, Mary K. Thompson and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Lily, Adam and Ava; a brother, Ray Kimble and wife Linda; and several other relatives and a host of friends.
