Janis Shuler Monk

She was employed by the Caddo Parish School Board and worked as a speech pathologist.

She was active in different organizations such as the Shreveport Art Club, Hoover Watercolor Society, Louisiana Speech and Hearing Association, American Speech and Hearing Association, Shreveport Women's Department Club and Shreveport Area Radio Kontrol Society.

She is survived by her son Eric Shuler and wife Mariette, grandson Ryan Shuler, great granddaughter, Katalina Shuler; granddaughter, Stephanie Tormala and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tritos "Bob" Monk, daughters Janet Lewis, Judy Shuler, granddaughters Michelle Nall and Jennifer Rogers.
