Jimmy was a teacher for 52 years, teaching mostly in Texas and Louisiana but he also spent two years in Guam teaching children as well. He liked fishing, was an avid movie watcher, and collected all of his favorite movies. He loved coming home to his five dogs, who lavished his with affection.
He is preceded in death by his parents and several extended family members.
Left to cherish his memory is his life partner, of 54 years, Ben Harmon McGuffee and his five beloved dogs, Moochie, Alice, Freeway, George Michael, and Mark Anthony.
Mr. Jimmy will be cremated and buried with his father and mother, in their home town of Mansfield, Louisiana at a later date.
