John Freddy Maxwell was born January 4, 1949 in Ringgold, LA. He went to be with his Lord January 27, 2018 in Shreveport. Freddy attended Summers Street School in Shreveport and was employed at CBARC.
Freddy was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Maxwell. He is survived by his mother, Frances Maxwell, sister, Cherrilyn Leon and husband Karl; brother, Joe Maxwell and wife Gwen; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Evans, Melisa White and husband Bryan, Randall Behrens, Katrina Leon, and Christopher Leon; four great nieces and nephews; one great great niece, other relatives and friends.
A service celebrating the life of John Freddy Maxwell will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018, 2:30 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dr. Chuck McInturf. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until service time.
