Shreveport, LA- Funeral Services celebrating the life of John Ernest McKenney, 72, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. McKenney was born on May 14, 1944 and passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016. John was a dedicated and devoted husband and father. He loved woodworking, bowling, drawing, great food, and, most of all, his family and his Lord Jesus Christ.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Christy McKenney and brothers David Casteel and Jim Saintignan.
John is survived by his wife Marsha; brother, James Casteel; daughters, Johanna, Deanna, and Carleen and their husbands; three grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
