Services to celebrate the life of Kenneth Ray Boyter, Sr., 77, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Harp of Brookwood Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday evening between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born on April 27, 1933 to the late R.L. Boyter, Jr. and Mary Hendricks Boyter and was called home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Before his beloved wife passed away in January, he enjoyed their time dancing together. He also enjoyed dirt track racing, as a fan and a participant. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of almost fifty years, Mrs. Sondra K. Boyter; his son, Darrell Ray Bobbitt; great-grandson, Kurtis Lowe; and his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tonya Madrueno; sons, Kenny Boyter, Jr. and wife, Mary, and Randy L. Boyter and wife, Kelly; brothers, Charles Boyter and wife, Margaret, and Paul Boyter and wife, Frances; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Honoring Mr. Boyter as pallbearers are Robert Hawks, Rob Mitchell, Jeff Williams, Adam Crager, Chris Dupont, and Jerry Dupont.
