Kenneth Dale McCoy

Ken graduated from Woodlawn High School in Shreveport and attended Bethany Nazarene Bible College in Oklahoma City. He worked for Dolet Hills and Caddo Parish as an electrician until his retirement. Ken was owner of Stonewall Self Storage and many other businesses. He loved gardening, raising animals, spending time with family, especially his grandkids. Ken was witty, generous, loving, honest, and faithful. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.

He was preceded in death by his father, Huey McCoy and granddaughter, Kennedy.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rebekah McCoy; sons, Brandon McCoy (Kristin) and Blake McCoy (Kimi); grandchildren, Maddie, Kenzie, Jax, Easton, Avery, Wyatt (Casper), Weston (Woo-Man), Kadence, and Kynzlee; mother, Iris McCoy; brothers, Mike (Debbie), Stephen, Keith (Melissa), and Eric (Lisa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for Ken will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Wayne LaForce, Rev. Jay Burford, and Rev. Mike Stowell officiating. Interment will take place at Centuries Memorial Park.

Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Brandon McCoy, Blake McCoy, Mike McCoy, Stephen McCoy, Keith McCoy, and Eric McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be David McCoy, Tony McCoy, Jax McCoy, Easton McCoy, Wyatt McCoy, and Weston McCoy.
