Mrs. Linda Harrison

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Linda Harrison, 63, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dr. Kenny Joyner, Bro. Trey Lewis and Associate Pastor Steven Quinn. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time on Friday at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Linda was born on May 15, 1951 and left her earthly home on July 30, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous battle with Scleroderma. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had a passion for her grandchildren. Her goal in life was to reach out and touch those who were sick by phone or by a card or letter. With her difficulties she always felt she was blessed more than anyone else because she loved the Lord.

Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Sikes.

Left to cherish wonderful memories of Linda are her husband, John; daughter, Michele and husband Steve; son, Brian Morgan and wife Melody; step daughter, Lorie St. Pierre; brother, Don Turnbow and wife Mary Jane; as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Thomas Pressely and Dr. Karla Tritton for their wonderful care during her struggle with her illness.

Linda loved people and her church family; her smile will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation or the charity of your choice.
