Lois M. Anderson, 73, was born July 1, 1952, in Cumberland, Maryland and passed away March 23, 2026. Lois was a devoted, loving, and steadfast woman whose life was defined by her deep commitment to family and the quiet strength with which she cared for those she loved. She resided in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Lois held many titles throughout her life, but none meant more to her than being a mother and grandmother—roles she cherished above all others. Her daughter and granddaughter were her world, and she found her greatest joy in the everyday moments spent with them.
Lois loved to travel and journeyed all over the world, always carrying with her a sense of wonder and appreciation for the places she visited. Her favorite destination was Walt Disney World. She also enjoyed spending time with her husband, John, and found comfort and happiness in the simple routines of home. Lois loved to sew, read, and bake, and she especially treasured cuddling and watching movies with her daughter and granddaughter.
Lois is survived by her husband, John R. Anderson; her daughter, Angel Marie Twigg; her granddaughter, Bridget Elizabeth Twigg; her sister, Sandy Freund; her brother, Francis B. Mantheiy; her step sons, David Anderson (Lupe') and Christopher Anderson (Rebecca).
Lois was preceded in death by her father, Francis Mantheiy; her mother, Hildegard Mantheiy; her sisters, Jean Amack, Louise Hymes, Roberta Marshall, Donna Hymes; her brother, Paul Mantheiy; and her step grandson, Nicolas Anderson.
